Japanese Rope Bondage with Hajime Kinoko (Tokio)

Hajime Kinoko is a young and extremely talented rigger from Tokio who excels in the traditional style, but also raises attention through innovative ideas and contemporary interpretations. He caused a furore at the London Festival of Japanese Bondage in 2010 and 2011. He did very sucessful workshops at schwelle7 in December 2010 and in September 2011 and we are happy to have him back this year. He masters not only an excellent technique but also convinces as a highly present performer in dramatic live acts. Notwithstanding a distinct feel for form and aesthetics, for Kinoko the rope is only a means to an end: for him the essence of Shibari is revealed in the elegance and beauty of suffering.

Hajime Kinoko ist ein junger, äusserst talentierter Rigger aus Tokio der im traditionellen Stil brilliert aber auch durch Innovationen und zeitgenössische Interpretationen auf sich aufmerksam machte. Er sorgte beim London Festival of Japanese Bondage 2010 und bei der BoundCon 2011 für Aufsehen. Er leitete bereits Im Dezember 2010 und im September 2011 sehr erfolgreiche workshops auf schwelle7 und wir freuen uns darauf ihn wieder hier zu haben. Er beherrscht nicht nur eine exzellente Technik sondern überzeugt auch als präsenter Performer mit dramatischen Auftritten. Trotz eines ausgeprägten Gefühls für Form und Ästhetik ist das Seil für ihn immer nur Mittel zum Zweck: die Essenz von Japanischer Bondage zeigt sich für ihn in Eleganz und Schönheit des Leidens.
